After a long wait, our new parliamentary petition to regulate the sale and use of catapults has finally been published. Once again, we need your help to make the government listen - to tell them this wave of animal abuse has to stop.

Our last petition was just shy of 25,000 signatures. This time, let's double that.

Sign and share this petition everywhere you can.

Do it for the swan who sat alone on her nest in Dorset after her lifelong mate was killed in front of her.

Do it for the duck in Orpington who slowly starved to death after his lower beak was blown off with a ball bearing.

Do it for the Canada goose in Bexley who was shot, dragged and thrown into a dustbin while still alive.

Do it for Theodore, the 23-year-old goose in Swanley shot with such force that a stone became lodged in his nostril, and he died a slow death.

Do it for Patty, the cat in Reading who lost an eye after a ball bearing lodged behind her eye socket.

Do it for every person who just wanted a peaceful walk in the park, but instead witnessed violence and death.

Do it for everyone who called the police again and again and again, yet still wasn’t heard.

Do it for every animal that has lost their parent, their mate, their ability to fly, their eyes, their limbs, for every animal that suffered pain and fear and confusion and died a slow and horrific death - all for five minutes of fun for thugs with catapults.

These animals are not being hunted for food. They are being killed for no other reason than the sheer pleasure taken in their pain and death, and to broadcast that suffering on platforms like TikTok. For years, the culprits have gotten away with it, growing so brazen they now share their kills on social media under their own names, shooting animals in broad daylight, in the same parks, day after day, believing they're untouchable

.

Send a message to them they won't get away with it any longer.

Sign and share - and don’t stop until we reach 50,000 signatures.

IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to check your emails to verify your signature - it won’t count until you do.
