Jacqueline's Experience: "I felt absolutely sick"

"One specific attack springs to mind on Sunday 6th August 2023. I saw a Canada goose shot by a catapult and as a result of that attack he succumbed to his injuries and died. I reported it to Wildlife Crime Unit and they asked if I saw the perpetrators and I said I did.

I received an email from Met Wildlife Team asking for more evidence but I was unable to get a photo of the attackers or the act.

I felt absolutely sick and disgusted at the vile and callous depravity that I witnessed. The perpetrator denied responsibility and asked if he should throw the bird in the bin which was nearby. I still suffer from PTSD."
